Young Master Chess will be holding summer chess camps in Charlotte & Chapel Hill this year!

Dates for the 2012 Young Master Chess Summer Camps:

In Charlotte: June 11-15

In Chapel Hill: June 25-29

Times & locations will be announced soon, along with a registration form.

FM Mike Klein honored with 2011 Chess Journalism Award

FM Mike Klein was recently honored with a winning entry in the Chess Journalists of America's 2011 Annual Chess Journalism Awards.

His article "Kamsky Bids Adieu to Championship Drought" (Chess Life, August 2010) won the "CJA Best Tournament Report Article" award.
